Why climb Mt. Rainier?

Mt. Rainier is a beautiful mountain proudly standing tall at 14,411 ft. in the Pacific Northwest.  To me, climbing is a beautiful symbol for growth, strength, and determination.

Climb for Empowerment is dedicated to help empower survivors of Domestic Violence and Abuse.  My dream is to show the world, if I can make a new life, so can you, one step at a time.  I know how hard it is to rebuild from scratch.  It takes a lot of courage to start over, learn how to live again and grow through the pain.  This climb is a symbol of that growth.

Who are we climbing for?

Girl Child Network Worldwide and The Pixel ProjectBoth are working hard to help end violence against women by bringing education and empowerment into the forefront.  They provide tools, resources and help for those in need.    You can donate direct to them or at the secure link below.  A donation a small as $5 can make a huge difference in a girls life by helping her get school supplies, feminine napkins, schooling and empowerment to help her build a new life.
